Head to Sushi Lovers on 5th st.
Order the Sad Roll, and politely ask them to make it 11/10 stars.
They make their own habañero sauce in house, and it’s delicious.
It’s hot, but it doesn’t take over the flavor of everything else. Of course if you get 11/10 stars, it can be very hot.
If you want a quicker cool-down, try the same roll but ask them to add avocado.
Some other Nom-tastic items at Sushi Lover are the Renee Chips, and the seared ahi hot plate!
The most ridiculous appetizer we’ve had in a long time was the Pane Rotondo at Amicci’s, in Baltimore. It’s super rich, almost enough to be a meal.
We also tried an awesome Gnocchi dish, and a seafood pasta. All of it was a win.
I don’t exactly recall where this was found, but I was captivated enough to snap the photo. It was somewhere in the East Village, NYC… I think around 4th or 5th st.
This is, without a doubt, the most awesome painting I have ever seen in a bar.
